How it works
Four steps from worried parent to workable plan
No long intake forms, no guesswork, and no appointment where you leave with more questions than you came with.
Book and upload records
Choose a clinic or telehealth slot online. We collect growth charts and lab results from your pediatrician before you arrive, then verify your benefits so the cost is clear up front.
A 60-minute visit that listens
We measure and review growth, take a full feeding history, and talk through a typical Tuesday at your house — meals, snacks, school, sleep, textures and medications.
A written plan you can actually run
Within 48 hours you get a plain-language plan: specific foods, portions, textures, a feeding schedule, and the exact signs that mean call us sooner rather than later.
Follow-up until it sticks
Most families return at 4 to 6 weeks, then less often as things settle. Message your dietitian between visits through our patient portal whenever something changes.

AR
Alina Reyes
MS, RD, CSP, LD · Clinical director
Fifteen years inside children’s hospital nutrition, focused on growth faltering, preemie feeding and tube weaning. Alina started Nourish Health after watching too many families leave appointments with a handout instead of a plan.
MB
Marcus Bell
RD, IBCLC · Infant feeding & lactation
Marcus supports breastfeeding, paced bottle feeding, bottle refusal and milk protein allergy. Parents consistently tell us his bottle-positioning walkthrough is the moment feeding stopped hurting.
PR
Priya Raman
MPH, RD, CNSC · Gut health & allergy
Priya leads our allergy and digestive program, including eosinophilic esophagitis, celiac disease and constipation. She also runs the monthly toddler feeding group that fills up fastest.
Credentials you can check: every dietitian here holds an active Texas license and completes more than 75 hours of pediatric continuing education each year. Tell us your child’s age and diagnosis when you book and we will match you with the right provider and location.

Parent stories
What changes when feeding stops being a fight
Shared with permission from families who finished six months or more of care with us.
★★★★★
Our daughter gained two pounds in three months after a year of flat weight. Alina never once made us feel judged about the nuggets-and-crackers phase.
★★★★★
The bottle-positioning walkthrough changed everything. Marcus watched one feed, adjusted our pace, and the arching and crying stopped that same week.
★★★★★
We started with three safe foods and a lot of tears. Ten weeks later my son had tried twelve. The plan was small steps we could actually do on a school night.

Questions parents ask
Straight answers, no runaround
Do I need a referral from our pediatrician?
Most plans do not require one, though a referral can speed up coverage for HMO products. Send us your pediatrician’s name when you book and we will request the growth charts and lab work for you — you should not have to chase records between offices.
Will my child actually eat the food you recommend?
That is the whole point. We build the plan from foods your family already buys and cooks, then widen the list one new item at a time. If a suggestion fails twice, we change the approach — we do not blame your child, and we never ask you to turn dinner into a battle.
How many visits will we need?
Most families come three to five times over about six months: a long first visit, a check-in at four to six weeks, then visits spaced further apart as things hold. Growth and allergy cases may run longer; feeding and constipation cases often settle in two or three visits.
Can we be seen by telehealth?
Yes, if you live in Texas, Colorado or New Mexico. First visits work well by video for picky eating, growth concerns, gut symptoms and sports nutrition. Hands-on visits — infant feeding, tube weaning, texture work — are better in clinic, and we will tell you honestly which one your child needs.
Do you see children with Medicaid or CHIP?
We bill Superior HealthPlan and several CHIP plans, and we hold reduced-fee slots each month for uninsured families. Call the Downtown Austin clinic at (512) 555-0143 and ask for the access coordinator — that conversation takes about ten minutes.
What should we bring to the first appointment?
Any growth charts or lab results you already have, a three-day food and symptom log if you can manage it, and your child’s actual bottles, cups, sippy tops or formula scoop. Measuring what they really drink tells us more than any questionnaire. Bring a snack, too — appointments run an hour and hungry toddlers are honest about it.
